Graduation session (Acorn street, Boston + Boston University)

This time of the year..

Finally got a chance to work around famous Acorn street in Boston. Funny fact: I already did graduation session for this young lady exact 1 year ago, and now again. But this time it's a masters degree. Returning clients are the best clients.

Since Boston is pretty small city, we got a chance to take pictures with mother nature (Boston Public Garden), with famous landmark (Acorn street) and on Boston University campus (Business school).

Wedding in Medford, MA - getting ready, ceremony, reception

Beautiful bride Fabiola and handsome groom Vladimir. About the event:

  • 2 locations in Medford
  • wedding photographer was hired for 5 hours total
    • getting ready pictures in hotel
    • wedding ceremony in church
    • wedding reception

Unfortunately, there are no chances for good outdoor wedding pictures in Massachusetts in February. So I was working indoor mostly.

Solo Portrait session / Boston / Prudential center / Winter

We were planning to do a solo photoshoot with Reem, absolutely amazing young artist from Boston, about 6 months. We missed summer, then we missed amazing opportunity to catch beautiful New England autumn, and so on... And so on... She texted me couple days ago and said "I'm ready". I said "Reem, it's winter! Freaking freezing January. Two days ago Massachusetts was covered with 10 inches of snow. Do you want photo shoot right now?".

Then she explained to me that she wants some closeup's or headshots. Something between model, actors and professional headshots. Something easy, nice and indoor. I used to work outdoor and not a big fan of walls and ceilings but there are no options for January in Boston. So we choose Prudential Center because there are a lot of hidden spots with big windows and without big crowds of tourists (and security).

It was my first portrait session in 2017 and it was amazing. Awesome place, tons of light, and stunning beauty in front of my camera. (But I can't wait the spring because Reem promised my outdoor photo shoot)
